Payment
Info

A detailed description of the payment schedule and terms can be found here. The initial deposit is $350. Full payment is due by June 17th, 2025.

  • Credit Card - if credit card payment is preferred, please call (347) 633-0663 to complete the transaction. Please note there will be a 3.5% service charge.
     

Travel Insurance

Travel insurance is strongly recommended. You can purchase insurance online separately. Here are a few platforms that offer more information about insurance options:

Meet & Greet 

To get an early start on the fun, there will be an in person and virtual meeting to get acquainted with your fellow Kingdom Luxury Travelers. The dates for the sessions will be announced in the near future. 

Flight Info

Arrive at EWR airport 3 hours before flight departure. 1 carry-on and 1 checked bag allowed

Seating 
Extra legroom seating is not guaranteed but if available, offered for an additional cost. Seating choice (aisle, middle, window) is not available.

Accommodation 

  • 9 nights accommodations at the following hotels or similar:

  • 2 nights Southern Sun Rosebank, Johannesburg, South Africa

  • 3 nights Kwa Maritane Bush Lodge, Sun City, South Africa

  • 4 nights The Rockefeller Hotel & Residences, Cape Town, South Africa

Roommate 
If you already have a roommate, you can submit their name when you complete the registration form. If you do not have a roommate, we will do our best to assign you one, otherwise you will be placed in a single room for an additional $600. 

​Meals

17 meals (9 breakfasts, 3 lunches, 5 dinners) are included in the travel package. You will also have free time to explore the local cuisine of your choice.

Things to Consider

Weather / Activity Level / Attire
In September, South Africa usually has temperatures between 54°F (12°C) and 69°F (21°C) and some parts of the trip involve walking tours. Please pack comfortable clothing and footwear. Rain gear is recommended as well.

Currency
The currency in South Africa is the South African Rand. You can convert money prior to the trip and/or upon arrival.

Passports & Visas

Passengers are required to hold a passport valid for six months beyond travel dates and should have two or more entirely blank (unstamped) visa pages in their passport when traveling to South Africa. For visits of 90 days or less, a tourist visa is not required for U.S. citizens.   

Vaccinations

No vaccines are required in order to visit South Africa unless you are from a yellow fever risk country.
